BNDES Exim Automatic is a financing program that promotes the export of goods manufactured in Brazil, offering special credit conditions for international buyers.

This modality allows foreign companies to purchase Ferraz Máquinas equipment with extended payment terms and competitive interest rates, making our products even more accessible in Latin American and African markets.

What is BNDES Exim Automatic

According to the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), the program aims to finance the export of goods produced in Brazil through the discounting of letters of credit issued by accredited foreign banks.

These operations are carried out quickly and securely, ensuring prompt payment to the Brazilian exporter while facilitating access to credit for the importer.

Where the Program is Available

Currently, there are accredited banks in several countries across Latin America and Africa, including:

• Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Uruguay;
• South Africa, and countries in Eastern and Southern Africa.

The international buyer may negotiate directly with a local bank, which issues a letter of credit in favor of the Brazilian exporter under conditions approved by BNDES.

Financing Conditions

• Total term: up to 7 years, with a grace period of up to 12 months;
• Maximum amount: up to US$ 10 million per transaction;
• BNDES participation: up to 100% of the export value;
• Advance payment: up to 50% of the export value.

• Immediate payment in Brazilian reais, right after shipment;
• Elimination of commercial and political risks;
• Fast approval — within 3 business days, if already accredited with BNDES.

For the Importer:

• Long-term financing (up to 7 years);

• Operation negotiated with a local accredited bank.
